Race time is 8:30 A.M.

One of the great things about city races is public transit. We strongly encourage the use of SEPTA, Uber, Lift, Bikeshare and other forms of public transportation - especially if you plan on consuming beer.

SEPTA's Market Frankford line is only a few blocks away from Yards at Spring Garden and Front Streets.

GABR encourages runners to carpool to every race: please do not drink and drive. Arrange for a designated driver on race day or plan to take public transit.

Runners who drive to the race will find plenty of parking near the Brewery and Start/Finish lines:

  • Brewery Lot: 50 spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Most are within the fenced lot behind the brewery on 5th St.

  • Target Lot: Several spaces in the Target store lot are designated for Yards using paint. Make sure you choose these because Target will tow.

  • On-street: On Sunday mornings, there is ample parking around the brewery - especially on 6th Street. Read the signs carefully because some blocks do not enforce on Sundays and others do. Philadelphia signs are notorious for being inconsistent.

  • Pay Lots: Parking is available in various paid lots. There are 4 lots within 5 blocks of the brewery on Spring Garden or Callowhill near Delaware Ave/Front St.,

Have you heard the news? Yards beer is now available in cans!!! Which is why Every 5,000 Yards Dash finisher earns a souvenir can glass to toast to their achievement.

This glass is almost guaranteed to be a first in your collection. With classic style, this glass is as crafty as the beer that fills it.

Race t-shirts are available as an add-on at check-out when you register or on race day. Limited quantities are available on race day so we recommend pre-ordering in your preferred size at registration!

"Yards' roots lie in British inspired ales. We strive to achieve balance and subtlety through careful selection of ingredients and an unwavering commitment to artisanal production practices.

Our humble beginnings taught us to take our craft seriously but not ourselves, and instilled in us a strong desire to be a positive force in the communities we serve. If you are familiar with us and have raised a pint of Yards in the past two decades, we sincerely thank you for your support."
