The Schuylkill River Relay is a rain or shine, 50K race that starts and finishes at Lock 60 on the Schuylkill Canal in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania (adjacent to Phoenixville). The course extends all the way to Conshohocken and back again. The Relay is divided into six, five to six mile legs. Aid stations occur at the transition points. 

Runners can compete as individuals or in teams of 3 or 6 members. Teams are assigned timing bracelets on race day.At the finish line, your unique finisher medals, cold Sly Fox SRT Pale Ales, live music, friends, family, and food trucks await!

Your race registration includes: 

  • 50k individual (Ultra) or team race that starts and finishes at beautiful Lock 60 in Mont Clare, PA. Course extends all the way to Conshohocken and back again. This race is divided into 6 legs that are 5-6 miles each. Aid stations occur at transition points. 

  • Chip (bracelet) timed course. Runners pick up their bracelets on race day. 

  • SRT Pale ales and unique finisher medals

  • Lawn game zone with Cornhole, giant Beer Pong, and Kan Jam

  • Food truck festival and live music at the finish line

Brewed in the vibrant communities of Phoenixville and Pottstown, Pennsylvania's Sly Fox beer has become synonymous with outdoor adventure and the active lifestyle. The Sly Fox adventure is a commitment to brew authentic styles of beer with excellence while continuing to support outdoor lifestyles and organizations. 

RACE COURSE & packet pickup

Start and finish along the Schuylkill Canal in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania at St. Michael's Park.  

This race begins in waves, starting at 9:00 am. Your start time is based on your self-declared finishing estimate and must be provided at registration. Runners who expect a longer finish time start first. All runners will be through the start line and on the course by 10:45 am.


Runners follow the Schuylkill River Trail through scenic Montgomery County and Valley Forge National Park all the way to Conshohocken. The turn-around point for this race is located at Conshohocken Brewing Company on the Schuylkill River Trail. At the finish line, every runner can enjoy an ice cold Sly Fox SRT Ale and the party continues with live music, food trucks and Sly Fox beer in the sunshine.

  • Thursday, October 29 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Sly Fox Brewing Company (Phoenixville location).

  • Race day beginning at 8:00 am under the pavilion at St. Michael's. Race time is 9:00 am. 

Team captains are encouraged to pick up for their entire team! Mark your calendars: have a beer and get your bib early so you can sleep in on race day! T-shirts, growlers, buckets, magnets, koozies and other merchandise will be available for sale.

Arrive with enough time to walk from the parking area to the start line, which is ~1k from St. Michael's Grove.

Given for fastest 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams of 3 and 6 in male, female, and coed, as well as 1st place for Master's teams of 3 and 6.
